Text Box: Fleets and Classes Mersea Cadet Week caters for most dinghy classes including: Beginner and Intermediate Optimist sailors race in two fleets
in the more sheltered waters of the Mersea Creeks where they receive more than just a helping hand. The more advanced Opi sailors together with three handicap fleets race in the River Blackwater. Consideration is given to willing learners at the back of the fleet but these are essentially race fleets where Racing Rules apply.
